 Happy Reunion We've missed nothing more than our family and friends during our travels; but fortunately, we've been lucky enough to have some of them show up along the way. A couple days back, our bay area friends Heather and Rowan gave us a surprise visit on their way down to Spain.  Vogelsang (Bird Song) It's Carnival time here in Europe - the one holiday that hasn't been appropriated in the United States for use by Hallmark Inc.; although New Orleans has done the frat boys proud with its version - Mardi Gras. Over here it is a week long party sometimes accompanied by a week off of work. It's like labor day weekend on european Hans and Franz steriods. We were lucky to hook up with the Aldorf crew for their best Carnival night - a costume party in a converted wine cellar.
